Dark Roast Iron Buddha | Tie Guan Yin (Oolong) 40% oxidation
Dark Iron Buddha’s main difference from our Light Iron Buddha is that it is approx. 40% oxidized vs 10%, rendering it darker in appearance and less vegetal on the palate. As opposed to the lighter floral quality of the Light Iron Buddha, it’s more toast-like. Try them side by side to compare. Can be resteeped.

“Warm and toasty. Reminds me a little of hojicha but lighter on the toasted flavours. Really nice by itself as it feels very smooth and light, but more substantial than Light Iron Buddha, which is more floral and almost fruity to me.” - Carmina, employee since 2018.
