Refunds will be offered on broken items. Generally we will not require the product to be sent back, but pictures will be necessary so we can talk to our manufacturers. Contact us HERE for more info.

We do, however there are added fees involved. We are happy to organize an international shipment for you, but please email us instead of trying to place an order online. One of us will help you through the process.

We have a few options available. Shipping is the option used for a majority of Canadian orders, however you may also choose to pickup from either our store in New Westminster, British Columbia or our office in Stratford, Ontario. Also, we offer a delivery service for orders around the Lower Mainland of BC (Vancouver, the North Shore, Burnaby, Richmond, Delta, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Surrey, and Port Moody).

A mini, depending on the volume of the leaf, is approximately 10-20 gms of tea, enough for several cups or a few big pots. They’re an excellent size for things like stocking stuffers, wedding favours, or grouping in a bundle as a gift.

We will try! There are minimum purchase orders required (usually 500 gms), but we will endeavour to find what you’re hunting for if possible. Email Lauren or Ranae HERE

This happens, and for a variety of reasons. The most common two reasons are that a change to the recipe has happened and a blend now includes something that we have as a deal breaker at the shop (sugar, dairy, gluten, or artificial flavours), or a blender is no longer able to acquire one or more ingredients to make a particular blend. Sometimes we are able to secure another blender to make something similar, and sometimes we just look for a tea in a whole new direction to keep it interesting.

We use a handful of blenders and importers around North America, primarily the west coast of British Columbia. It’s important that we secure product that comes from well-run estates, meaning everything from fair wages for workers and environmental commitments to local communities. It’s a huge topic and is constantly evolving. We carry many teas from estates that are involved with the Ethical Tea Partnership. Those that aren’t part of the ETP are affiliated with other groups or individuals with whom we’ve developed personal and trusting relationships who visit the estates directly. What this means is that occasionally teas on our menu can change without notice if there are ethical concerns with a particular garden.
